Born in nature and made in nature, Villa Nai 3.3, a member of Leading Hotels of the WorldÒ, located on the remote island of Dugi Otok, is delighted to announce the hotel will reopen for the season on 1st April 2022.
Having opened in Summer 2021, Villa Nai 3.3 has had a hugely successful first year and has scooped numerous impressive accolades not just for the multi-award-winning olive oil, Nai 3.3, but for the hotel’s exceptional customer service.
Villa Nai 3.3 achieved the incredible Guest Satisfaction Score of 9.89 in the 2021 Leading Hotels of the WorldÒ Guest Satisfaction Programme. At the annual 2022 Monocultivar Olive Oil competition, Nai 3.3 Coratina was awarded the prestigious title of ‘Best of the World 2022’. This is yet another accolade for the ever-growing list that is attached to Villa Nai 3.3’s “liquid gold”.
Created using olives hand-picked from the 500-year-old olive groves that surround the vill, Nai 3.3’s namesake is a testament to the rich history of the region’s olive harvest. Snowfall lends itself to the unusual name of the property. Dugi Otok once received, on average, 3.3 days of snowfall annually, which was the perfect amount to produce a bountiful olive harvest and the Morović family’s globally multi-award-winning olive oil, Nai 3.3. Nai 3.3 ecological olive oil attributes its success to the early harvest of 100-year-old olives and young olives processed on the same day, with many thanks to Dugi Otok’s exceptional olive-growing climate and soil.
In Old-Dalmatic, an extinct language from the region, the name ‘Nai’ means ‘snow’ and snow is rare on the island, lasting for only 3.3 days per year. However, this unusual occurrence is crucial for the successful production of Nai 3.3. Villa Nai 3.3 was designed by renowned Croatian architect Nikola Bašić to blend in seamlessly with the surrounding environment with each of the eight exquisite rooms and suites being notable for their elegance and comfort. Located in the Kornati National Park adjacent to the glistening Adriatic Sea and acres of ancient Aleppo pine forests, it’s the perfect 2022 adults-only getaway.
Olive oil is truly the way of life at Villa Nai 3.3 as it is used as a basis for indulgent spa treatments and products because of its abundance of Vitamin E and antioxidants, designed to nourish body, mind, and soul as well. At 3.3 Restaurant and Grotta 11 000, Nai 3.3 is used to enhance the delicious flavours of each dish. Using only the very best local produce from surrounding farms, orchards and waters is the secret to delectable dishes, each of which can be paired with a sommelier-selected wine – both international and Croatian! Equidistant from Venice and Dubrovnik, Villa Nai 3.3 is surrounded by the Zadar Archipelago, one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world, which can be explored by sailboat – a truly wonderful to spend a day made perfect with an evening relaxing at Villa Nai 3.3 in a charming and tranquil atmosphere.
