Further research into the most listened to garden songs has found we actually have a preference depending on the garden activity. Some have found the most listened-to songs for different garden scenarios, analysing specific playlists.

If you’re having a BBQ then Shape of You still takes the top spot, however, if you’re lucky enough to be hosting a pool party this summer, the most listened-to song is Blinding Lights.

For those looking for the perfect sunbathing tune, Drake’s One Dance has taken the top spot on playlists dedicated to sunbathing.

Somfy has seen popularity grow for smart home products and it’s clear that smart sound systems in the garden are here to stay.

“It’s clear we love to listen to music outside of our homes, and the popularity of smart speakers has made it so easy to switch up the songs at either the touch of a button or voice command.” Sandra Juvan, smart home manager at Somfy had to say.

Why not create your own garden playlists, taking inspiration from the tracks that came out on top.
