Amsterdam Light Festival (1 December 2022 until 22 January 2023) is picturing the future with 20 unique artworks from an array of homegrown and international artists, following the theme of Imagine Beyond. Their visionary installations will illuminate the city, and visitors can see the winter show on foot or with a night-time canal cruise.

NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace is a five-star hotel beautifully converted from several 17th-century townhouses and a 15th-century chapel, located in the heart of the city’s old quarter and with a private boating dock on the canal. After an evening exploring the lights, guests can relax with a nightcap or bite to eat in the cosy Bottles & Jars Bar or enjoy the haute cuisine of Chef Chris Naylor in the Vermeer Restaurant.

The five-star NH Collection Copenhagen is perfectly located next to the harbour, with easy access to the rest of the city. This captivating hotel, in a listed building, maintains many of the modernist flourishes from its 1950s design, with most rooms decorated with Scandinavian elegance and offering beautiful views of the city or harbour.
