Nordic-inspired restaurant Aquavit London, in the heart of St James’s, is ensuring a splendid start to spring with the arrival of its new weekly-changing five-course tasting menu from Head Chef Jonas Karlsson.

The brand-new tasting menu has been designed to treat diners to a range of experimental and off-menu dishes, showcasing the culinary wonders of Scandinavia with premium ingredients.

Taking its lead from Nordic seasonal changes, enjoy a sensational five-course spread with showstopping Scandinavian plates. Whilst the menu changes weekly, expect freshly baked rye bread with cod roe butter to start, with other dishes such as Nuet cured gravlax with dill mayonnaise, and smoked duck breast with a cabernet sauvignon vinaigrette. For a sweet finale, puddings might include the traditional baked ostkaka or sea buckthorn and orange sorbet.

To further elevate this culinary experience, a drinks pairing is also available, with a selection of wines and cocktails carefully curated to complement each course.

The five-course tasting menu will be available from 1st April for dinner reservations only, priced at £90 per person. An optional drinks pairing will also be available for an additional £80 per person, consisting of a welcome drink, a shot of Aquavit, two small glasses of wine, and one sweet wine.
