April 2023: W Ibiza, island insiders’ favourite place to enjoy the best of both worlds on the White Isle, reopens for the summer season on 24th April 2023 with a refreshed culinary offering thanks to two new restaurants.
From relaxed brunches on the poolside to Saturday night festivities inspired by the creativity of Burning Man, W Ibiza is known as a hub for balanced experiences that combine the spirited and mindful sides of the Ibizan lifestyle together.
New Bites for Summer 2023 – FIRE and STEPS
This summer, guests and island visitors will have more choices than ever when it comes to dining as two new restaurants land at W Ibiza; FIRE and STEPS.
FIRE will bring the heat to the table, with a menu that celebrates earthy flavours and a marriage of farm and flames, where fire is the main ingredient. Within the restaurant’s simple yet sultry interiors, guests will have their pick of Spanish wines paired with grilled meat, fish and vegetables. An open kitchen sits at the heart of the space, offering a front-row seat to the energetic and unexpected theatrics of an evening at FIRE. Open from 8pm – 1am, nights at FIRE swiftly turn to early mornings at BELOW, W Ibiza’s famed club, available exclusively to hotel guests.
Meanwhile, on the seafront of Santa Eulalia, STEPS will debut its fresh, vegetable-forward menu for relaxed all-day dining. The new eatery prioritises responsibly-sourced seasonal ingredients and home-style cooking, promising wholesome and healthy bowls, juices and low-alcohol cocktails. The restaurant is open from 7.30am – 3pm, and 5pm – 12am.
The new hotspots join W Ibiza’s established restaurants and bars, including:
- Glow Bar: A rooftop pool terrace, reserved for adults during the day, but open to all guests for dinner. Glow serves small, shareable dishes and bold cocktails that are reminiscent of the Balearics’ playful and nostalgic spirit;
- WET® Deck: A W staple, WET® Deck is a lively pool terrace with direct access to the beach. Guests can enjoy cocktails and snacks under the sun, and international DJ sets from day to night;
- W Lounge: An amphitheatre-style lounge at the centre of the hotel, W Lounge serves coffee, cocktails and food throughout the day, whilst live music or DJs take over the communal space at night
From 24th April, W Ibiza will be a 24/7 destination for music that celebrates Ibiza’s culture and heritage, from its hippie roots to the current electronic scene. Daily events will serve up a fusion of Afro-Latin rhythms and electronic music, blending the past and present of this much-loved island.Every week will kick off with Groove Sounds on Mondays, channelling good vibes and funky electronic rhythms. On Tuesdays, guests can channel their inner Latino/a at Ritmo, a salsa and bachata dancing fiesta. Wednesday Y2K will take guests back in time to the late nineties and early noughties, whilst EQUAL= on Thursdays celebrates individuality and self-expression through music and dance.Local talent will take the spotlight once a month during Stage, from musicians to painters and fashion designers, W Ibiza will be a hub for the creativity of the Balearics. While Saturday Untamed parties invite attendees to let loose to electronic, African and Latin American beats, Sunday Origin is all about relaxation and restoration with the hotel’s resident DJ playing chilled and tranquil sets.
