June 2023: Bagatelle Group has opened its doors to a brand-new concept, Sunset Plaza, in Mykonos offering three unique dining experiences inspired by the liveliest plazas around Europe: Sunset Lounge, Bagatelle Mykonos, and ITA.
Sunset Lounge will amaze all guests with its electric ambience and incredible al fresco setting overlooking the Aegean Sea sipping on a romantic cocktail whilst overlooking the most beautiful sunset in Mykonos. There will also be a finger-food dinner or a festive late night. Highlights on the menu include Cauliflower tempura with cumin, fresh mint, and pesto; a thin pie filled with calamari and spiced candied peppers and a Roman Pizza with Fior di Latte from Lecce and truffled Cacio e pepe.
The menu will also offer a range of cocktails, spirits and wines, highlights include The Mykonian Spritz – Martini Fiero with prickly pear beer from Mykonos and clementine bitter; The Saraki – Grey Goose vodka with St. Germain elderflower liqueur, lychee liqueur, coconut liqueur, fresh lime juice and peach and Dolce and Banana – Belvedere vodka with tonka banana oleo and soda water.
Bagatelle Mykonos offers its iconic experience from around the world, welcoming guests with a true Greek fine dining atmosphere full of “Joie de Vivre”, where Corporate Chef Rocco Seminara has artfully composed a unique menu that will blend the generous flavours of the French Riviera cuisine with the refreshing Mediterranean and Greek influences. Highlight dishes include Trenette with blue lobster and shellfish broth with bergamot; Jivara chocolate pizzetta, topped with caramelized Piémont hazelnuts and Black Angus beef tartare with organic egg bottarga.
ITA Mykonos within the Plaza will be a Mexican and Peruvian restaurant, offering authentic and traditional dishes within an intimate location. The jungle restaurant on the Aegean coast will be bold and full of playful colours with a twist of Central and South American flavours. Highlights on the menu include Octopus, with potatoes and Kalamata olives aioli; Batter fried fish with chipotle mayo and red cabbage salad; Beef confit with tatemada sauce, avocado, red onion, pickles and avocado cream.
