Opening October at Ronnie Scott’s is multi-Grammy award winner Chucho Valdes with his legendary Afro-Cuban jazz. And, for four consecutive nights, violin virtuoso Nigel Kennedy, will grace the stage, continuing to pioneer new sounds and new methods of performance.

We also welcome the US bass superstar Christian McBride, performing his latest project the sublime New Jawn. Alongside this, we also have the immense pleasure of welcoming the New York Voices with their unique vocal harmonies, alongside other artists from the American scene with trumpeter Theo Croker, saxophonist Isaiah Collier, pianist James Francies and vocalist Emily Braden who makes her club debut.

For fans of Scandinavian jazz, the Norwegian/Swedish trio Rymden and trumpeter Nils Petter Molvær explore with prowess the endless possibility of the genre.

From the UK, we welcome Scottish keyboardist Pete Johnstone; guitarists Deirdre Cartwright and Rob Luft, saxophonist Art Themen, Portugal-born but UK resident, percussionist Joao Caetano and vocalist Joe Stilgoe who shares the spotlight with well-known figures of the London scene.

Closing October is Macy Gray with her sublime and exuberant voice to perform her latest project The California Jet Club – The Reset
