CHAPEL DOWN GIVES AN ENGLISH TWIST TO ‘CHAMPAGNE DAY’
WELCOMING EUROPEAN TRAVELLERS TO LONDON
WITH A GLASS OF ENGLISH SPARKLING WINE
Offering ‘A fresher way to celebrate Champagne Day 2023’, leading English wine brand Chapel Down will be serving hundreds of complimentary glasses of its award-winning English sparkling wine to arrivals at London St. Pancras station on Friday 27th October.
The leading English sparkling wine brand has also partnered with the prestigious Searcys Champagne Bar and Brasserie, located on the Grand Terrace of St Pancras International, to extend the opportunity to enjoy a free glass of Chapel Down over the weekend.
The campaign is part of Chapel Down’s ongoing mission to change the way the world sees English sparkling wine and challenge perceptions of quality and taste versus champagne.
It follows on from the brand’s success with its much acclaimed ‘Chapelle en Bas’ blind taste test earlier in the year, which saw 60% of consumers sampled in the Champagne region of France prefer Chapel Down to a leading champagne house.
Chapel Down will be serving complimentary glasses of its best-selling Brut to travellers arriving at London St. Pancras on Friday morning, as sparkling wine drinkers across the world celebrate ‘Champagne Day’ in unique and interesting ways.
The brand is then extending its celebrations into the weekend by partnering with Searcys at St Pancras – Europe’s longest Champagne Bar – to give away a further 200 glasses of Chapel Down sparkling wine (100 glasses on Saturday 28th and 100 glasses on Sunday 29th October). Plus, for the first time, Searcys will also be featuring an English sparkling wine (Chapel Down Brut) as part of its popular ‘Limitless Brunch’ offering on one day only – Sunday, 29th October.
