The Piano Works West End Moves to the Gillian Lynne Theatre, Covent Garden

London’s best night out just got bigger and better, as non-stop, audience-requested live music venue The Piano Works West End, is moving to an incredible new home this month!
Ramping up the BDE (Big Dancefloor Energy) even further, The Piano Works’ new location within the Gillian Lynne Theatre on the corner of Drury Lane and Parker Street, boasts a huge space with an island stage. Dance and sing along to your favourite tracks, with a 360 view of the band who are amped up and ready to fill your night with back-to-back bangers, chosen by YOU.
The Piano Works is one of Britain’s largest employers of independent musicians which equals a routinely high-calibre crew with a huge repertoire. The concept is simple and will not change at its new home: a human jukebox formed from a roster of 100 of the best musicians the UK has to offer, playing anything you want to hear.
Shake it Out, inject some Uptown Funk or simply feel Good As Hell, just jot down your favourite track on the song request slips, pass it on to the band and carry on living your best life while you wait to see if your selection makes the next set. On any given night, there’s absolutely no set list which leads to a joint, interactive musical journey fuelled by a spontaneous, high-energy atmosphere where anything can happen.
The move is in collaboration with Nightcap plc, which resides in the Gillian Lynne Theatre location. As part of Nightcap’s commitment to offering their guests new and unique experiences, they welcome The Piano Works as their first-ever audience-requested, live music residency.
The current Piano Works West End location in Leicester Square closed due to a rejected application for a higher licensed capacity from the council. The Piano Works team then set out to find a new central London venue in an epic space suited to non-stop live music, for your biggest dancefloor yet!
Sassier and sexier than ever before, The Piano Works West End residency will launch on Thursday 16th November and be open every Tuesday to Saturday from 5 pm to 2.30 am.
