STILL CHARDONNAY 2022 AND STILL PINOT NOIR 2022

Sip your way into the winter months with two brand new releases from award-winning Hampshire winery, Hattingley Valley; the STILL Pinot Noir 2022 and the STILL Chardonnay 2022 wines. These wines are perfect for festive entertaining, pairing well with turkey, creamy cheeses, winged game such as goose and festive nibbles such as chicken liver parfait on brioche.

Products of a fruitfully long and warm growing season in 2022, these new wines are ready to enjoy now, and are perfect for those long, festive lunches that bring family and friends together, as well as celebratory evening drinks which demand a bottle or two.

A perfectly pale wine from the 2022 vintage, the STILL Chardonnay 2022 (RRP £25) is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes that have been hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, resulting in a wonderfully vibrant wine, with aromas of lime, blossom, candied pear and tart nectarine on the nose. Beautifully fine and rich with notes of elderflower, complemented by a natural bright acidity, this wine has a long and refreshing finish. Perfect for true Chardonnay lovers, the wine pairs perfectly with chicken liver parfait and brioche toast or roasted cod and puy lentils.

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, the STILL Pinot Noir 2022 (RRP £25) is the perfect enjoy with warming, winter foods, pairing beautifully with rich winged game such as goose, or a beautifully grilled fillet of Sockeye salmon. Made from handpicked and destemmed grapes, which are then pressed off the skins before being transferred into old French oak barrels, this wine is something special, having spent nine months ageing before bottling. Bright ruby in colour, the elegant wine is bursting with aromas of red fruit, such as strawberries and cherries. On the palate, the aromas continue, revealing candied cherries, cooked fruit and rich dark chocolate. A smooth mouthfeel from oak ageing balances well with the wine’s acidity, ending in a long and smooth finish.

Both wines are available now to purchase at www.hattingleyvalley.com.
