National Vegetarian Week 2022 takes place this week from 16th to 22nd May 2022. This year it is about choosing more vegetarian options to help tackle the climate crisis. Choosing more vegetarian options means less of an impact on animals whose habitats are adversely affected by climate change.
Changes in weather due to climate change could cause pollen to emerge earlier in the year and higher carbon dioxide concentrations encourage plants to produce more pollen. So the hay fever season could be lengthening and the pollen counts are getting higher. That’s the climate change double whammy for people with hay fever.
However, there is a vegetarian option called HayMax. HayMax has a strong reputation as the go-to vegetarian product for hay fever sufferers. It is 100% natural, proudly carries the Vegetarian Society Approved vegetarian trademark, and is certified organic by the Soil Association. It has also never been tested on animals and is free of nanobeads, chemical nasties, and artificial colours. It’s very economical as one pot can last an entire hay fever season!
HayMax is climate-friendly too as it uses sugar cane for the packaging which means that CO2 is used up rather than produced when creating the new packaging materials. And it’s recyclable with the normal kerbside collections.
As HayMax is drug-free it is suitable for children and pregnant and breastfeeding women. There are no drowsy side effects – so, unlike many anti-histamines that people take, it can be used whilst cycling, driving, and operating machinery, and will not adversely affect performance at work, school, or during exams, or while taking part in sports or fitness.
HayMax has been proven in an independent study to trap over one-third of pollen, as well as dust and pet allergens before they enter the body [1]. In an independent survey by Allergy UK, the leading national charity providing support, advice, and information for those living with allergic diseases, 80% of respondents said that HayMax worked for hay fever [2]. Many people report that HayMax works straight away, and in the same Allergy UK survey, 94% of participants found HayMax quick to be effective. 44% said that it worked immediately and a further 35% said it worked within an hour or two.
HayMax organic drug-free allergen barrier balms rrp is £8.49 per pot and they are available from independent chemists, pharmacists, and health stores, Holland & Barrett, Booths, Ocado, selected Superdrug and Boots, on 01525 406600 and from www.haymax.biz
