Prestigious Italian School Welcomes Experts & Designers – Jamie Gill, Bill Prince, Anya Hindmarch & Shaun Leane This Year

London, UK – 27th October 2022: World-renowned fashion and design school Istituto Marangoni London announce their 2022 ‘In Conversation With’ speakers, including major names in the industry such as Jamie Gill, Bill Prince, Anya Hindmarch and Shaun Leane. Istituto Marangoni’s powerful cadre of speakers this academic year highlights the school as a formidable player in the fashion world. Previous speakers include Christopher Raeburn, Massimo Giorgetti of MSGM, Francesca Ragazzi of Vogue, Alastair McKimm and Carlos Nazario of i-D, as well as other notable figures that have spoken at their global campuses. Alessandro Sartori of Zegna, Alessandro Bentton of 21 Invest and Chiara Costa of Fondazione Prada round out the list of recent luminaries who have spoken at the prestigious school.

While staying true to its Italian heritage, Istituto Marangoni has extended its network, opening new schools most recently in Dubai to add to its legacy schools in Milan, Florence, Paris, London, Mumbai, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Miami. As part of the panel, Fashion and Luxury Chief Executive, Jamie Gill, will be presenting the topic of ‘Leadership of Tomorrow’, speaking about the young talents that are being inspired and supported at Istituto Marangoni London. As chair of Diversity & Inclusion and Executive Board member at the British Fashion Council (BFC), he will speak about BFC’s new programme that supports the next generation of people of colour in the fashion industry and beyond, The Outsider’s Perspective. Jamie will be speaking at the school on Wednesday 2nd November 2022, beginning the “In Conversation With” series.

Bill Prince is an award-winning journalist and an expert on luxury, culture, men’s style and watchmaking. Currently, Acting Editor in Chief of the internationally lauded magazine, Wallpaper* – Bill also served as Deputy Editor of British GQ for 23 years. Alongside his present role at Wallpaper*, Bill writes as an expert on men’s style and luxury for the Daily Telegraph and is a contributor to Vanity Fair’s watch special – On Time. Since 2020, he has additionally been an Academy member of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, for which he served as a Juror in 2021. He will be speaking at the school on Wednesday 16th November 2022. 

Iconic British award-winning accessories designer, Anya Hindmarch who spearheaded responsible luxury with her iconic “I’m NOT a Plastic Bag” tote among other accolades and British jewellery designer and four-time winner of the UK ‘Jewellery Designer of the Year award, Shaun Leane will join the ICW speakers at the London school during the academic year. 

The series is one of the most notable events hosted by Istituto Marangoni London for students and non-students to promote the cutting-edge education and network that the school is famous for. The conversations will now be hosted in person after a brief hiatus, welcoming industry figures and students from all over the world.
