Three Choirs is one of the oldest and largest English vineyards, located midway between the
Cotswolds and Forest of Dean. Its vines drape across 75 acres of south-facing slopes, with the hills
creating a perfect micro-climate for growing flavoursome grapes. Unlike most English vineyards,
Three Choirs grow and produce both high-quality still and sparkling wines, with its very own winery
on site.
The first vines were planted in 1973, just a small area of 1/2 an acre to see how the vines would
grow. A great success, now taking up 75 acres of Gloucestershire countryside. With a little help from
the 1976 record summer temperatures and bumper harvest, Three Choirs’ small fruit farm began to
expand. Most recently taken over in 1989, Martin Fowke has been the winemaker and production
director at Three Choirs for over 25 years, his knowledge of English wine is unrivalled.

About the wine: Our Classic Cuvee is a traditional bottle of fermented English sparkling
wine. The hints of crisp green apple and stone fruits on the palate are complemented by
the classic biscuit and brioche character typical of extended bottle maturation on the lees.
This sparkling is everything you would expect of any superior sparkling wine; fresh, rich,
rounded, and full of complexity.

About the wine: Literally translates as white from black. The Blanc De Noirs is a
traditional bottle of fermented English sparkling wine. Fine pinhead bubbles, bright
