One of Cornwall’s top hotels has capped its spa’s tenth anniversary by being nominated for a prestigious award.

The Headland Spa had previously marked a decade of indulgence with the introduction of the cleverly named Decadence experiences.

The five-star location has now had its facilities recognised by being shortlisted in the final three of the Good Spa Guide’s annual awards, with the winner revealed on November 27 in London.

The Spa, who are looking to retain the title they won last year, are in the running for the Best Spa in the South West.

The Headland Spa and Wellness Manager, Lindsay England said: “It is amazing for us to have been shortlisted again for this award, which in our industry, truly holds value.

It demonstrates that we have kept our standards high and continue to offer a wonderful wellness experience to our guests.’’

The luxury resort, which recently won the prestigious title of Independent Hotel of the Year, has unveiled a number of experiences for guests to celebrate the Spa’s decade with.

The Decadence stay at The Headland includes a night’s stay, use of the Spa and Aqua Club facilities, a credit towards dinner in Restaurant RenMor and a Rhassoul mud treatment for two people.

For those looking to enjoy a day of pampering, the Decadence Spa Day will see guests enjoy the use of the Thermal Journey; an adult-only area inclusive of a hydrotherapy pool, Cornish salt steam room, Swedish sauna and jacuzzi.

Following this, guests will indulge in one of the Headland’s signature Afternoon teas in the Spa Lounge served with a glass of fizz before being whisked away for an exclusive anniversary 115-minute head-to-toe signature treatment.

“Over the past ten years, our spa has evolved into a sanctuary of tranquillity, a place where guests come to find respite from the modern world,” Lindsay added.

“We look forward to another ten years of nurturing well-being, creating cherished memories, and being a beacon of serenity.”
